New Poll Shows Strickland is Strong, Voinovich Could Be Vulnerable

Twenty-three months before Governor Ted Strickland is up for re-election, he has a good chance of keeping his job. And the Quinnipiac University poll shows none of the Republicans who are likely to challenge him are better known or have more favorable approval ratings than Strickland. But the poll also shows U.S. Senator George Voinovich is more vulnerable for his possible re-election in 2010. Just over a third of voters say they expect to vote for him and about the same amount favor an unnamed Democratic challenger. Ohio Public Radio's Karen Kasler reports.
