The Republican presidential candidate insists leaders of failed financial firms should be denied "golden parachutes" in the Bush administration's 700 billion dollar plan.
McCain spoke briefly today after touring Nova Machine Products. The company in Middleburg Heights supplies parts to nuclear power
plants around the country.
The GOP nominee called again for the construction of 45 new nuclear power plants by 2030, both to ease U.S. dependence on
foreign oil and to create jobs. Earlier, McCain accepted the endorsement of a local chapter of the International Union of Operating Engineers.
