As transportation costs rise, shipping is expected become an increasingly popular method for moving goods from one place to another because of its relatively low cost. Earlier this week Lorain City Councilman Mitchell Fallis presented a plan to build an international port in the black river to the Lorain Port Authority. Fallis and businessman Richard Konik spoke with ideastream®'s Eric Wellman about the project.
