Cavaliers Lose First Home Finals Game

The Cavaliers fed off the energy of a sold out crowd last night taking an early lead in the first quarter. But the San Antonio Spurs quickly recovered and for the rest of the game the Cavs struggled to keep up. In the final seconds of the fourth quarter, they brought the score within 2, but time was not on their side. The game ended 75 to 72.

With three straight losses in the best-of-seven series, Cavs star LeBron James says his team faces a huge challenge.

LeBron James: Well, everybody has to still believe. You know, it is the first of four games, but we dug ourselves a big hole. We have to come out aggressive. We gave ourselves a chance to win tonight and that's all we can ask for.

Both teams showed solid defense in the game, which kept the score low. It tied in fact for the 2nd lowest finals game in NBA history. Game 4 is Thursday night at the Q. Lisa Ann Pinkerton, 90.3.
