Did you know that there are several easy ways to keep your child healthy right here in Northeast Ohio?

ideastream and participating partners bring you Viz Kids - a health initiative providing children and families with simple tips for healthy living. Viz Kids is a multiple media effort which will spotlight programs and online sources related to fitness and nutrition for parents and caregivers.

Be healthy. Help your child become a Viz Kid!

Healthy Habits

By providing your child with healthy meals, encouraging physical activity and promoting a regular sleep schedule, you can help them prevent both childhood and adult diseases. Here are simple ways for you and your loved ones to develop and maintain lifelong healthy habits.

Fitness Fun

Childhood obesity is on the rise in the U.S. By incorporating regular exercise into your child’s life you can help combat this epidemic and instill a fitness routine that will benefit your child’s health for years to come.

My Plate

Research shows that children who eat a nutritionally-balanced diet have more energy to think, play, and enjoy their day-to-day activities. Stay up-to-date with national nutrition requirements and learn ways to make healthy choices at home, at school and when dining out.

Tasty Tips

Consuming fast-foods causes rapid weight gain and can take a harmful toll on your child’s health, even into adulthood. Here are some kid-friendly and diet-friendly recipes and dining options the whole family can feel good about.
