After a fatal shooting at Chardon High School, the district's superintendent offered this advice: "If you haven't hugged or kissed your kid in the past couple days, take that time."

A FBI agent speaks with people in front of Chardon High School where a shooting took place this morning.

The Chardon schools will be closed tomorrow after a student shot and killed one student and shot and injured four others at Chardon High School, a 1,100-student school east of Cleveland. The accused shooter has been arrested and the Cleveland Plain Dealer identified him as T.J. Lane, a junior at the Lake Academy Alternative School.

District Superintendent Joseph Bergant says students, teachers and all staff (except for a handful of maintenance workers) should stay home and "spend some time reflecting on family." His message at a press conference this afternoon:

"If you haven't hugged or kissed your kid in the past couple days, take that time."
