Nothing says it’s time for the holidays like door buster deals and big savings during Black Friday & Cyber Monday. But this year retailers didn’t wait for the traditional day after Thanksgiving to pull the trigger on holiday shopping discounts, from Amazon to Walmart — and nearly every store in between —stores have been stretching the selling season with Black Friday discounts that started the day after Halloween. But did that really change the Black Friday shopping frenzy? Were the numbers still high for people waiting in line to get the best deal on a coveted item? Or have more people decided to wait for Cyber Monday? On the next Sounds of Ideas, we’ll recap the events of Black Friday as well as get some shopping advice & tips for Cyber Monday.
