Teachers on Social Media Social media can be a great tool for teachers. Many use Twitter and Facebook to discover new teaching methods or link up with other classrooms across the globe. But teachers can also get in trouble for what they say online, as teachers in Akron and Zanesville recently found out. We'll discuss the pros and cons of teachers and social media, and what to do about friend requests from students. We apologize for the impaired audio in today’s podcast.

Stacy Hawthorne, Educational Strategist with Evergeen Education Group
Jeremy Brueck, Educational Researcher and Associate Director at the University of Akron’s Center for Literacy
