Family Choices: Opting to Have Kids Later in Life - Or Not At All PRI's The World has been reporting on family choices in Africa, from families where the man wants more children than the woman to rethinking what the "ideal" family size is to struggling with infertility. Sound familiar? These are some of the same issues American families face, where family size is shrinking and the population is aging. Some people wait to have kids, others don't want kids at all.
