Shifting Public Opinion on Gay Marriage Public opinion about same sex marriage is shifting in this country. A recent poll for the first time shows more Americans support it than don't. And the politics of gay marriage may be changing, too. Republican US Senator Rob Portman recently said he supports same sex unions as did former state Chancellor Jim Petro. This discussion first aired Monday, March 25th, as the US Supreme court considered legal questions about gay marriage. The program was hosted by Mike McIntyre.
