Dear Sir or Madam:

This letter is to request that you eliminate inaccurate information from this Trans Union Credit Report, which is attached hereto with the erroneous information highlighted for your convenience. 

I am requesting that the information be deleted pursuant to the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”),15 U.S.C. § 1681, et seq.
Since I am disputing the accuracy of the information contained in my report, you are required to reinvestigate those items, pursuant to the 15 U.S.C. § 1681 (i)(a).  If any item is not verified, you are required to delete the information from the report.  In addition, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C § 1681(c), states that items older than seven years are obsolete and must be removed from the report.
