As Democrats and Republicans battle for control of Congress, Ohio once again is in the thick of it. The GOP is riding a wave of voter disappointment with efforts to fix the failing economy. Many say Washington's efforts haven't helped them and swing voters are blaming the Democrats. Polls show incumbent Democrats on the bubble in several Ohio Congressional districts. Betty Sutton, for example, has moved from a "solid" Democratic win to only "likely," and John Boccieri's odds of re-election are considered a toss-up. We'll discuss both the 13th and 16th districts and the issues motivating voters. Join host Mike McIntyre and tell us what's driving you to the polls...or what may keep you from bothering to vote. Thursday at 9:00 on 90.3.

What about the 14th district? Why can’t the Democrats get a serious opponent to LaTourette?
I get many forwarded emails - a large number are full of misleading or just plan wrong information - I use factcheck.org, snopes.com or other similar sites to investigate - I wish more people did - I people had the correct information maybe we could have real debates - ones about the real issues and real facts.
It simply amazes me how, either, obtuse, naive or just plain in denial regarding the question of ‘taking back our country’. This was yelled loud and clear after the election of a black president. PERIOD. It is STILL the elephant in the room. That is what was meant. He had done nothiing but win at the time. No healthcare or anything else, so do not insult the caller’s nor my intelligence. It was because of a black president, then, now and in November. Lie and say it isn’t all you want. My head does not screw on backwards. STOP not talking about this. At 61, I know the language(attack on civil rights and the 14th amendment which was about Dred Scott reversal and NOT immigration). I really get sick of the evasive attitude and I believe the caller does, too.
