21st Century Schools: Akron Remakes the Middle School

Download MP3It is becoming common knowledge that American students are falling behind in science and math. Now, Akron Public Schools have a plan to turn that around. The Beacon Journal profiles Akron's future math and science middle school Monday. It's the product of a collaboration between the district and the National Inventors' Hall of Fame. Tuesday on the Sound of Ideas, we'll talk about out how this new STEM school plans to prepare and engage the next generation of engineers. Join us at 9 a.m on 90.3.
