A bill introduced in the Ohio House would-- if passed-- effectively change Ohio's driving age to 16-and-a-half instead of 16 years old. The Young Driver Protection Act aims to build on previous legislation aimed at keeping young drivers safe and seeks to increase the amount of time spent practicing behind the wheel before a license is granted. We'll talk to the two lawmakers co-sponsoring the legislation and get insight from an instructor who logs many hours teaching teens to drive. Then, we'll discuss a new law that just hit the books that looks to shore up the knowledge of some adult drivers too. Plus, we'll get a look at the area's long range transportation plan which was put together with an aim towards social equity.
