Who Can Use the Water?

Governor Kasich, in his first major split with fellow Republicans in the Ohio legislature, vetoed a bill Friday that would have restricted the amount of water companies could siphon from Lake Erie. The bill would have allowed corporations to remove five million gallons per day without a permit. Efforts to override the Governor's veto are underway. We'll talk about the legislation and efforts to preserve the Great Lakes Thursday at 9:00 on the Sound of Ideas.
