University of Akron President, SNAP Rule Changes, Statehouse Update

The food safety net helping to prevent hunger for millions of Americans would be reduced under a series of rule changes put forth by the Trump administration.  One change would require stricter work requirements that are scheduled to go into effect this spring.  Another rule change would cap utilities deductions impacting benefits.  John Corlett with the Center for Community Solutions discusses the potential impact here in Northeast Ohio. But first, the University of Akron named a new president last fall.  Dr. Gary Miller is the 18th president in the university's history.  We will hear about his plans.
