Study Examines Disparity In Economic Mobility; Statehouse Update

A new study from researchers at Harvard and Stanford Universities and the U.S. Census Bureau lays out how difficult it is for black males to escape poverty or hold on to wealth if they're raised with it.  Researchers found young white men born rich are far more likely to stay that way. Black men lag economically, and even wealthy ones are more likely to become poor than stay rich.  We will discuss the implications of this study with local guests, academics and researchers.  The University of Akron will begin the search for a new president.  And we'll check in for our weekly update from the Ohio Statehouse with Karen Kasler.
