Preventing Sexual Violence

Preventing rape might just start with teaching respect. President Obama launched a task force on campus rape last month saying young men must be taught to recognize and be outraged by sexual violence. Local advocates agree. They're busy teaching teen boys about what sexual violence is, how to conduct themselves with respect, and how to be empowered to intervene. Can education equal prevention?
