Parents Encouraged To Engage Children In Early Math Skills

Libraries gear up for summer reading challenges and schools assign books to be read over the break.  What about summer math challenges and problems to solve over the break? Where's the summer calculus list?  Recent studies show that parents value reading and writing as practical skills over math, but a child's math abilities at a young age are a big indicator of how well they'll do academically as they age. Could part of the problem be parents and our math anxiety?
