Ohio's Green Energy Mandates

A 2008 law requiring electric utilities in Ohio to meet benchmarks for energy efficiency and renewable energy is working, its supporters say. But a state senator, with support of utility companies, has proposed a bill that would roll back what he calls 'enviro-socialist mandates' that result in hidden fees for users. Is it fine-tuning to benefit consumers or a give-away to utilities?
