Ohioans in Prison: 50,000 and Growing

Right now, more than 50,000 Ohioans are locked up in prison. The system is at 130 percent capacity. Most incoming prisoners are sentenced to less than a year. So the state legislature is considering giving judges more discretion to keep these low-level offenders out of prison. But critics say: if you do the crime, you should do the time.
