Graduation rates in the US are rising, but not at the same pace for everyone. Students of color, students from low income families, students with disabilities and English-language learners have significantly lower rates of graduation. Ohio is one of just 10 states that graduates less than 70 percent of all five of these groups. We'll look at the latest data in Cleveland and explore ideas for dissuading dropouts, including the importance of champions and mentors.
