It stands to reason that the best way to deal with school violence is to avoid the violence. To nip problems in the bud. Easier said than done, right? But schools and safety officials say they're making progress at deterring trouble by having teachers spot trouble as it begins to develop. Early and intensive intervention also are keys. We'll discuss strategies to keep schools safe and see how they're working, Thursday morning at 9:00 on The Sound of Ideas.
