Exploring New Paths to Cancer Treatment

The diagnosis is cancer. The treatment includes yoga, meditation, perhaps a soothing massage. And, of course, traditional approaches, such as chemo-therapy and radiation. A growing field of cancer care known as integrative oncology combines traditional treatment with proven complementary alternatives. We'll learn how it's being used at major hospitals and what research is being done to prove its effectiveness, Tuesday at 9:00 on the Sound of Ideas.
