Diversified School Portfolio

Cleveland's latest school reform plan requires special permission from the state legislature, a new set of union rules and an infusion of money through a tax levy. Is it more talk or will there be action that results in real improvement? Mayor Frank Jackson wants to triple the number of students in high performing schools, strengthen ties with good charter schools and shutter bad schools. He'll lay out the proposal and take questions, Thursday at 9:00 on The Sound of Ideas.
