Death With Dignity

Advocates say that death with dignity is a civil right. Opponents which include religious groups and the American Medical Association say that allowing physician-assisted suicide "is fundamentally incompatible with the physician's role as healer .. and would pose serious societal risks." Why is this debate going on around the country but not in Ohio? What would it take to get an initiative on the ballot? What do people on both sides have to say about this? What if you had to watch a loved one suffer, but legally could not offer any help?Dr. Charles Wellman, Chief Medical Officer of Hospice of the Western Reserve
