The United Way of Greater Cleveland is getting strict with its charity wallet, cutting off allowances for a number of non-profits that have enjoyed funding for years. United Way is narrowing its focus and looking for more bang for its donors' bucks in the areas of education, health and income. How will the new strategy's impact on the community be measured and how will it change the nature of non-profits in our region?
