Live Wire is a one-hour weekly radio variety show recorded in front of a live audience. It’s music, it’s conversation, it’s sketch comedy. It’s the show that dared to put tap dancing, juggling and ballet on the radio. Live Wire highlights the best musicians and most fascinating writers, poets, dignitaries, artists we can find in the even more beautiful pacific northwest.

SUSAN ORLEAN - Acclaimed author of 9 books and a staff writer for The New Yorker. She was also portrayed by Meryl Streep in the John Malkovitch film, "Adaptation." She has contributed many articles to different publications and contributed her writings to several books. She tends to write about true stories and has much praise from the writing community. JOHN RODERICK - A central figure in the Northwest music scene he is the songwriter and singer/guitarist for the Seattle band, The Long Winters. He is a regular seasoned guest on Live Wire and we love what he does, each and every time.

PORTLAND CELLO PROJECT - Founded in 2007, this beautiful group of musicians give amazing performances having no two alike. They continue to blur the lines of music playing songs music from punk to hip hop genres. They sometimes have just 4-6 cellos and up to a 12 piece full band.
