L.A. Theatre Works: “The Gin Game” and “The Value of Names”

In The Gin Game, we’ll meet two strangers consigned to a nursing home, whose daily rounds of gin become both a vicious battleground and their sole source of consolation.

Then in The Value of Names, an aging actor named Benny is brought face-to-face with the friend who blacklisted him more than thirty years before. As the two men struggle with reconciliation, Benny’s daughter Norma has come forward with a revelation of her own.

Guests:

The Gin Game, starring Katherine Helmond and Harris Yulin.

The Value of Names, starring Garry Marshall, Hector Elizondo, and Sally Murphy.
