It has been over 40 years since the 1973 oil crisis, when OPEC embargoed exports and American drivers faced long lines at the pump. Today, climate disruption presents a new kind of oil crisis. Over the next hour we will explore some questions it raises: Is drilling at home a hedge against foreign oil dependency? Can we wean ourselves off oil altogether without wrecking the economy?
