Cabinet of Wonders

Cabinet of Wonders is a variety show recorded live in New York. It features an exciting mix of musicians, authors, comedians, and other artists. Imagine you're in the audience of a talent show put on by your very talented, critically acclaimed friends. They sing, read from their novels, tell jokes, make you laugh, make you think, and keep you entertained.

Musician and writer John Wesley Harding hosts a gang of his favorite musicians, writers and comedians onstage at New York City's Winery. In this week's show -- comedian Eugene Mirman, a frequent Cabinet guest, talks about fanciful made-up stereotypes and leaving mysterious messages on bar napkins. Pulitzer Prize-winning author Paul Harding reads a compelling passage from his short story "Speed of Light" set in Nigeria. And rocking the house are musicians Craig Finn (of the Hold Steady), Hamilton Leithauser (of The Walkmen), John Darnielle (of The Mountain Goats), and Rosanne Cash.
