Cabinet of Wonders

Cabinet of Wonders is a variety show recorded live in New York. It features an exciting mix of musicians, authors, comedians, and other artists. Imagine you're in the audience of a talent show put on by your very talented, critically acclaimed friends. They sing, read from their novels, tell jokes, make you laugh, make you think, and keep you entertained.

Host John Wesley Harding opens with humorous song of lament for the dominance of Starbucks. Edie Brickell gives a captivating performance of new songs. The soulful voice & lyrics of Josh Ritter take on new dimensions when combined with the string wizardry of the band Punch Brothers. Novelist Haley Tanner reads from her favorite book, by fellow author Tom Robbins, and draws meaning from the description of outhouses and polka music. AND Comedians Eugene Mirman and Sarah Vowell dispense spurious advice about life.
