America Abroad: Online Data, Information, and Privacy

The fight between Apple and the FBI over whether or not an iPhone should be unlocked in the San Bernardino terrorism case, underscores a larger international debate over how to create rules that protect both national security and individual privacy. On this edition of America Abroad reporter Jennifer Strong reviews the current Apple vs FBI case and we present an international town hall recorded with KUT in Austin Texas and NPR Berlin. This town hall brought together cybersecurity, policy and law experts, along with privacy activists and business representatives.
