Twitter Updates Policy on Violent Posts

Speaking of language, twitter users who post hateful or violent speech on the social network will be booted from the site. This, after twitter announced an update to its policy on violent or abusive posts.

The new policy enhances the fight against hate speech and gives twitter more explicit ability to remove violators from the site.

Twitter, Facebook and other social networks have faced criticism for failing to stop terrorists from using their channels to communicate.

In response, the social networks have adjusted their policies several times to clamp down on hate speech, while avoiding censorship.
