Trump Picks Nation Leaders

AMID THIS POST-ELECTION DRAMA, PRESIDENT-ELECT TRUMP HAS BEEN BUSY SELECTING THE HEADS OF FEDERAL AGENCIES -- AND HIS CABINET. THESE OFFICIALS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAY-TO-DAY ENFORCEMENT OF FEDERAL LAWS, AND MAKE UP THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT. THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH IS BY FAR THE LARGEST BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT -- EMPLOYING MORE THAN 4 MILLION AMERICANS. THIS INCLUDES THE ARMED FORCES.

THE DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES HAVE VERY DIFFERENT RESPONSIBILITIES – PRESIDENT-ELECT TRUMP HAS RECENTLY ANNOUNCED TWO OF THEM: SOUTH CAROLINA GOVERNOR NIKKI HALEY WILL SERVE AS THE AMBASSADOR TO THE UNITED NATIONS...AND SCHOOL CHOICE ACTIVIST BETSY DEVOS WILL SERVE AS EDUCATION SECRETARY.
ANOTHER CHOICE TRUMP IS EXPECTED TO ANNOUNCE SOON; IS THE HEAD OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY. THE EPA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT BY WRITING AND ENFORCING REGULATIONS.
