I KIND OF FEEL LIKE I’M LIVING ON MILLIONARIE’S ROW HERE AT NEWSDEPTH, BECAUSE WE’VE GOTTEN SO MANY GREAT LETTERS FROM YOU….. AND YOUR TWO CENTS …ARE WORTH A MILLION BUCKS TO US!

MALLORY FROM COPOPA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL RESPONDED TO OUR QUESTION ABOUT HOW MANY POLITICAL SIGNS PEOPLE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO PLACE IN THEIR YARDS:

YOU SHOULD BE RESPECTFUL OF YOUR NEIGHBORS AND ONLY PUT UP ONE SIGN, BECAUSE HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF YOUR NEIGHBOR PUT UP A BUNCH OF SIGNS? YOU WOULD PROBABLY BE ANNOYED.

ABBY FROM ANKENEY MIDDLE SCHOOL TOOK THE OPPOSITE SIDE. SHE WROTE:

VOTERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO PUT UP AS MANY POLITICAL SIGNS AS THEY WANT DURING THE ELECTION, BECAUSE THE FIRST AMENDMENT STATES THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH. AS LONG AS VOTERS STAY WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THEIR OWN YARD, THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXPRESS THEIR BELIEFS.

HANNAH FROM MELRIDGE ELEMENTARY IS JUST GLAD TO BE CHATTING POLITICS. SHE WROTE US:

I THINK IT’S COOL YOU GUYS TALK ABOUT POLITICS! I WAS ALWAYS INTERESTED ABOUT THE TOPIC SINCE MY MOM TAUGHT ME ABOUT THEM. I THINK IT’S NICE THAT KIDS GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT HILLARY CLINTON AND DONALD TRUMP. MY FAVORITE PRESIDENT IS WILLIAM MCKINLEY, BECAUSE HE'S ONE OF MY GREAT, GREAT, GREAT, GREAT, GREAT UNCLES ON MY MOM’S SIDE! THANKS NEWSDEPTH!

A FEW OF YOU REALLY LIKED LEARNING ABOUT THE SOLAR CARS TOO. BODE FROM CHAGRIN FALLS INTERMEDIATE WROTE:

IT WAS VERY INTERESTING TO HEAR ABOUT THE SOLAR CAR RACE IN CUYAHOGA VALLEY NATIONAL PARK. IT IS COOL THAT PEOPLE ARE ALREADY GETTING CLOSE TO HAVING ALL-GREEN CARS ON THE ROAD. IT IS GOOD THAT PEOPLE HAVE A CHANCE TO CREATE AND RACE A CAR.

SAKENA FROM CARDINAL INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL WROTE:

THE SOLAR CARS WERE COOL WHEN IT SHOWED HOW THE PEOPLE GOT TO RIDE IN THE SOLAR CARS. MY OPINION IS; IF I WERE SITTING IN THE SOLAR CARS I WOULD GET TIRED OF SITTING IN THEM. IT WOULD BE SO BORING TO BE SITTING IN THE CAR WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING. I WOULD BE SO HOT OR COLD TRAVELING AND IT WOULD BE UNCOMFORTABLE. THE SOLAR CARS ARE COOL, THOUGH.

Thanks Sakena! And thanks to Mallory, Abby, Hannah, and Bode for sharing thoughts
