President Obama Posts About His First Job

His time is ticking down in the White House... and long before he was running the country, President Obama was working the counter behind Baskin Robbins.

The president posted about his first summer job on LinkedIn, a business-focused social networking site. He said the job taught him valuable lessons such as responsibility and hard work.

He also announced a new program to help young people experience their first jobs. The summer opportunity project aims to increase job opportunities for youth -- to help them gain skills and experience during the summer months.
