President Obama Delivers Oval Office Address

President Obama makes a rare oval office address, outlining steps to take against terrorism to help keep our country safe.

Sunday night's primetime address was only the third time President Obama used the oval office to address the nation. The others were after the Gulf of Mexico oil spill and the end of the Iraq War in 2010.

But, different this time? The president was standing up during his address.

Obama emphasized putting stronger screenings on people arriving in the U.S. without a visa and insisting on additional gun control. The president concluded his address with a call to reject discrimination.
