NewsDepth Petting Zoo: Dragon Rescue

MEET DAENERYS, NAMED AFTER THE POPULAR HBO SERIES GAME OF THRONES CHARACTER.
LIKE HER FICTIONAL COUNTERPART, THE STORY OF HOW DAENERYS GOT HERE IS THE STUFF OF LEGEND--BUT IN THIS CASE, IT'S TOTALLY TRUE.
DAENERYS WAS FOUND ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD BY THESE TWO DEPUTIES--FROZEN NEARLY TO DEATH.
"It was really really cold that night.  Close to zero if not below zero."
THE DEPUTIES RUSHED HER TO ROBIN MUNDT'S NEARBY HOUSE--BUT IT DIDNT' LOOK GOOD.
(Dr. Robin Mundt, Associate Veterinarian, PetMed) "It was literally so stiff and not moving.  I mean you picked it up and it just came like a board in one piece."
BUT A LITTLE COLD WOULDN'T KEEP THIS NOT SO MYTHICAL DRAGON DOWN.
WITHIN HOURS SHE HAD MOVEMENT BACK, AND SOON WAS BACK TO HER OLD SELF--SLAYING HER CRICKET FOES--AND CHARGING HEADLONG INTO BATTLE--ACROSS THE VET FLOOR.
"These guys are just gentle, laid back"
OH...RIGHT--THE POINT BEING, SHE'S HEALTHY AGAIN, AND IN GOOD HANDS.
"Daenerys might not have had a home before she was rescued, but she does right here at PetMed.  She's going to be used as an educational tool around the office to help train people how to deal with exotic animals."
MUNDT SAYS SHE'S EXPECTED TO LIVE A LONG AND HEALTHY LIFE--MOST LIKELY, DRAMA FREE.
