Milk carton igloo

THE WINTER CERTAINLY HAS A NATURAL BEAUTY – AND SOME CRAFTY CANADIANS HAVE USED THIS BEAUTY TO CREATE A STUNNING STRUCTURE THAT TURNS TRASH INTO ART. AN IGLOO IN ALBERTA, CANADA HAS BEEN MADE FROM ABOUT 600 MILK CARTONS.

THE CARTONS WERE FILLED WITH WATER AND FOOD COLORING, FROZEN, THEN PEELED AWAY TO REVEAL A BEAUTIFUL BLOCK OF ICE.
THE BUILDERS SAY IT TOOK ABOUT THREE YEARS TO SAVE ENOUGH MILK CARTONS TO MAKE THE STRUCTURE.

EVEN BETTER -- AFTER THE CARTONS WERE PEELED AWAY, THEY WERE STILL RECYCLED!
