Malala Yousafzai, 17, Youngest Ever to Win Nobel Prize

Pakistani women's rights activist Malala Yousafzai is the co-winner of the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize.

The Nobel Committee chose Malala for her ongoing efforts to make sure all children have access to education. Malala rose to global prominence after she survived a life threatening attack by the Taliban and anonymously spoke out and wrote letters about the fears of schoolgirls under the shadow of the Islamic group. In her acceptance speech she expressed her gratitude and strong passion for women's rights everywhere.
