You may remember our story on the terrorist group known as ISIS last month.
ISIS stands for the Islamic state in Iraq and Syria, and is an extremist group fighting to control land in the two countries.
Last weekend ISIS fighters almost took a key Syrian town along the Turkish border as well as an entire province near Baghdad, the capitol of Iraq. That prompted leaders in the area to plead for the U.S. to put troops on the ground and stop the spread of ISIS.
ISIS already controls about 80 percent of the Anbar province just west of Baghdad.
President Obama met with defense chiefs from 22 other countries battling ISIS in the region this week, including officials from Iraq to develop a strategy moving forward, including possibly training Syrian soldiers.
