Additional U.S. Troops to Iraq in Training Role

Additional American troops are headed to Iraq to help in the fight against the terrorist group ISIS.

President Obama is sending 1500 more soldiers to Iraq, doubling the number of American troops deployed there.

But they won't be doing any fighting. Instead our soldiers will train Iraqi and Kurdish forces to battle the terrorist group.

The white house will also ask congress for more money, which would make the American costs for the war against ISIS more than 5.6 billion dollars.
