Trump budget will make revitalizing urban communities even harder, says Neighborhood Progress CEO

Since, its inception in 1974, the Community Development block grant program has received over 150-billion dollars from the federal government.

That funding is now on the chopping block as president Trump's budget proposal includes a 13-percent reduction in funding or six billion dollars to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which would eliminate the block grant program. How might that impact communities here in Northeast Ohio?

Here to help answer that question is the President and CEO of Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, Joel Ratner.
