True2U Mentors Help Cleveland Students Navigate Transitions

An innovative mentoring and career awareness program called "True2U" is designed to prepare eighth grade students for the transition into high school.

For its third year this fall, it expands to serve every eighth grader in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

"True2U" is the shared vision of the CMSD, Cleveland Foundation, Greater Cleveland Partnership, Neighborhood Leadership Institute, and the Northeast Ohio Faith-Based collaborative.

And there's a spot for you to help as this fall, they'll need 600 mentors from the business community, churches and synagogues, and civic organizations.
