Northeast Ohio's victims of violence gets more than two and half million dollars.

Earlier this year, Ohio became the second state behind California to form a network of trauma recovery centers, aimed at helping victims of violence recover and provide them with the services they need.

More than two and half million dollars in grants were awarded to five centers statewide and  'two' of those centers are located right here in Northeast Ohio.

They are University Hospitals and MetroHealth Medical Center.
