Lakewood Offers New Addict Program; DART Program Goes Statewide; Red Cross Need Blood Donations

Like many cities and towns across Ohio, Lakewood has been hit hard by the opioid and heroin crisis. Now a new program may offer hope.

In Toledo, the DART program focuses on getting addicts into treatment, rather than jail. And that approach is gaining momentum.

And, did you know every two seconds, someone needs a pint of blood. Faced with a critical shortage, the Red Rross of Northeast Ohio puts out an urgent call for donors.
