Despite progress, African American men continue to see disparate health outcomes

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported this week that the mortality gap between white and black Americans is closing. 

African Americans have made significant gains in life expectancy and the overall death rate dropped by 25-percent. 

But the report is not 'all' good. Findings show major health disparities 'still' exist, leaving doctors to underscore previous warnings about preventative care.
