Clarence Mingo Looks To Bring Civility To His Campaign For State Treasurer

Franklin County auditor Clarence Mingo is one of two candidates currently running for state treasurer in 2018.

Mingo, a socially and fiscally conservative Republican, will face state representative Robert Sprague in a GOP primary next year.
So far, no Democrats have entered the race.

Mingo is a Canton native and a United States Army Veteran of the first Gulf War.

He was here in Cleveland this afternoon, and stopped by the Ideacenter. I began our discussion by asking him about his stance on two controversial issues.
