The New Medicaid

Ohio is one of 32 states and the District of Columbia (D.C). that have chosen to expand Medicaid eligibility. Some states have done so by adopting alternative methods of expansion, and some are proposing welfare-style work or eligibility time limits. Will these or similar proposals strengthen Medicaid’s ability to function or do they harken back to a different era?

Join us for a conversion on the new Medicaid with Cindy Mann, Former Deputy Administrator and Director of the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services at the United States Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). She has more than 30 years of experience in federal and state health policy, focused on health coverage, financing, access and operational issues.
